Patrol 14 Runs Switzerland Trail

Bill, Cheryl, John, Gary and Trudy ran the Switzerland trail Saturday March 12, 2022. It was an all YJ day and it was great. We were able to run the complete trail, and even tried to go up Switzerland north but were not able to go too far due to snow drifts. On Switzerland  lots of hard packed snow and ruts but not that bad. On Switzerland trail north we did some snow bashing and John was awesome getting us through a few drifts before we called in quits . Weather was sunny and windy , but it was a great day of wheeling. This is a great early season trail.  Most times not too crowded and manageable snow.

Enjoy the pictures.

The three YJ's lined up for Photo Ops.  Bill in the Red YJ, John's Green YJ next, and then        our leader Gary on the end.  The previous week in Denver had been cold and not so pretty.      Note the beautiful skies that day.

Gary makes a run up the hill while John sits awaiting his turn.  Not a difficult run but a great photo.

John headed up the hill on Switzerland North.  John made some great attacks on this hill.         We attempted all of the North side but the drifts were soon more than we wanted to deal with.

Gary in the lead with Bill close behind.  A quick 10-100 for our ladies were in order so               this was a perfect photo op.  Again the skies were beautiful and temps really nice.

Bill and John lined up along the trail with a great backdrop.
